Day of the Dead: Night Time Cemetery Tour & Traditional Dinner with Local Family
🗓️ Exclusive Date: October 31st Only
About This Experience
The Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) is a profound tradition celebrated across Mexico on October 31st, November 1st, and November 2nd. Nowhere is it observed with more color and mysticism than in Oaxaca.
Oaxaca Experience Tours invites you to experience this unique tradition with a special program. We will gather at our downtown office for an introduction to the Day of the Dead traditions. Afterwards, we drive to Atzompa for a body & soul purification ceremony, followed by a traditional dinner (mole amarillo tamales, hot chocolate, bread, and mezcal) at Casa Ambar. Finally, we will visit the local cemetery in Santa María Atzompa to witness the heartfelt candles, music, and decorations created by families honoring their loved ones.
