Mezcal tasting and Cooking Class

Oaxaca is world famous for its mezcal, rivalling the best tequillas sold worldwide. We will visit a traditional distillery (“palenque”) to learn about its production and taste several samples. We will visit the home of an indigenous family in Teotitlan del Valle to prepare and eat traditional food such as tamales, mole, and chocolate.
